When visiting Chicago, there are many professional sports games that you could attend. You have football, baseball, basketball and many more. I would really encourage anyone to make a stop by one of these fields or courts to see how the Chicago professional sports teams do.

Chicago Bears
The NFL NFC north division team for Chicago would be the Chicago Bears. They have recently been playing on the newly renovated Soldier Field. They play 8 home games and 8 away games each year. They opened their new field in the inception for the 2003 football season. The Chicago Bears have a big history in the National Football League with many players along with coaches that are well known and recognized all over for what they have done within the league. The most notable figures would be George Halas- was the longtime leader of the Chicago Bears. He was known as "the father of the NFL." Mike Ditka- former linebacker, defensive end or fullback. Was drafted from Pittsburgh in 1961. Gayle Sayers- was with the Chicago Bears his entire football career and is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Walter Payton- spent his entire career with the Bears. He's remembered as one of the most famous running backs in the history of American Football.

Chicago Cubs
Chicago has two Major League Baseball teams. The Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs. The Chicago White Sox is probably the most popular of the two. Since 1991 they have played in U.S Cellular Field. The White Sox last won the World Series in 2005 where they played the Houston Astros. Watching the White Sox play would be a fun-filled experience for the whole family to attend.

Chicago Bulls
The professional basketball team of Chicago is well known as the Chicago Bulls. They play in the Central Division of the Eastern conference in the NBA. The team was founded in 1966. You will find them playing their home games at the United Center in Chicago. The Bulls are well known for having one of the greatest dynasties in the NBA and sports history. The won six championships in eight years with two three-peats. All six of the championship teams were led by Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Coach Phil Jackson. They won and NBA record 72 games during the 1995-96 season.

Chicago Blackhawks
Being members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the NHL, the Chicago Blackhawks are a well known and loved professional hockey team for Chicago. You can find them hustling on the ice at the United Center. Having won four Stanley Cup and fourteen division titles, they have to work hard to maintain their reputation. Since 1926, the Chicago Blackhawks have continuously made Chicago residents proud, and still show confidence in never letting them down.
